I know all of the candidates and while I am not an expert in school operations I think I have seen enough in the last few years since moving here to say there is a key difference between promising and doing. I have seen Bob and Elaine take a stand against the outlandish control measures McMahon and Mitchell tried to put on them with that conjured up confidentiality agreement that even the state and court labeled "unusual". I watched Mitchell and her gang file frivelous charge after charge against people to get them off the board or give people jobs they wanted off the board. I also was very familiar with the real calculated action the district took when Mr. Adorno became a candidate in the election last year and the offer that came from the super that offered to drop the charges if Adorno dropped out of the election. I also remember when Mr. Bilker was on the board, I remember Mr. Ihnken's campaign last year and I am familiar with Mrs. Fords short lived "real beauty" endeavor. While all these people may be friendly and personable, Bob, Elaine and Rafael are the only ones who have been tested and proven that their commitment is to righting things that have been out of control for way too long. Every time I read an article quoting Mr. Ihnken, I can't help but wonder what kind of law enforcement representative he is? He thinks that untrained unqualified civilians are better security for our schools then reccomendations of the federal, state and local authorities that say we should lock doors, have trained security staff and technology that is not archaic? I am very secure with the steps Mr. Houser and the current board have taken to make sure my children are safe at school and my kids love Officer Bernstein and Officer Tatur. Thank you.

I was told by someone close to Mrs. Taylor that on this past Tuesday morning she woke to find the mutilated remains of some kind of animal very deliberately placed at her front door. I also understand that after the police report, she did not want media attention drawn to this horrible act and I would have to assume it is because of her two children. I would lke to apologize to her on behalf of the community as I don't think there is a single person here who could voice any justification. And be it an oposing candidate (Ihnken, Bilker or Ford), their child or some supporter, it is time Barnegat realized that anyone who has repeatedly been part of "anonymous" acts aimed at the people they are running against - is as guilty as sin and has no right to say they don't know anything about it.
